Yep, it does in Jersey, like Corgidog says, there's no choice, funny thing is, it's cheaper a lot of time than self service in PA! Some of the idiots I see pumping gas here makes me wonder if it should be that way everywhere. I myself try to avoid generic stations, oh, and here I avoid Shell, since they are usually 10-11 cents higher than other stations!
