Air Conditioning not very cold

My air con is not very cold. Wondering if this will be covered under warranty. My car is 2yrs old with 30K miles.

Most likely if it's not cold, there is a leak, or a failure of some sort, so yes, it should be covered under the 4/60k bumper to bumper.

It has never really been that cold but it's noticable now that I am comparing it to the Honda minivan we bought last year. Driving home from work it take 15 minutes for the car to become bearable compared to the Odyssey where I am a mile from my house and I have to turn it down it's so freakin cold

I am wondering if they are going to try to tell me that's how it's supposed to be. Does anyone know the spec on how cold the air should be coming out of the vent?

I usually have it at 60 with the recirc on

I don't know the specs, but on both my '04 and '05, the air coming out of the vents got/gets cold very quickly, and I have it set on 74-75 usually. This blows colder air than any of my vehicles since they did away with freon!

Where? Not in Boston it was 91 today. That is if I can believe the temp display in my car. Which I don't, my guess is it's at least 3 or 4 degrees higher than the real temperature.

This is probably the best (as far as getting cold and how cold it can get) AC's I've experienced in a Japanese car. Thank goodness for having my G this summer to deal with the heatwave here in Socal.
I've been in my friend's Odyssey miniman a couple of times for trips, there is no way the G's AC should lag behind the Honda's. My friend (with the minivan) has even commented on how cold the G's AC gets.

I don't know the spec, but I have measured the output of mine with an infrared thermometer... when it's set at 60 it reads 43 directly in front of vent. If it's hot outside (like So Cal lately) turn the fan up a notch or two - it's not any colder but of course blows more and feels cooler.

The temperature you have it set at isn't going to be the temperature of the air coming from the vents, if you have it at 60, it will keep blasting until the temp sensor on the dash gets to 60, so even if you have it set at say 75 in a hot car, the air is still going to blow ice cold until the temp goes down at the sensor.

Ya, something is up. Mine's set at 23c (75 or so) pretty much always and even when it's 40+ (100+) out the thing pumps. It's cold within a mile of the house. Go get it checked.

I've seen mine over 100 many times.

I have an appointment Monday morning for the dealer to take a look at my car. I hope they can fix it for me. I've been tempted to take the minivan on really hot days and I hate driving that thing. But it is cool
