Production switched from 05 to 06 models
I ordered a 2005 G35 6mt on July 12th. My salesman called me July 22nd to let me know that the order went though exactly as I wanted, except that they were no longer producing 2005s, so I'd have to get a 2006. He claims the timeframe to get the shipment in should be about the same, which is 50 days from now. I hope he is right on the timeframe, because the wait is killing me.

Picked up this info from another website:
So far the following changes have been confirmed for the 2006 G35:
1) Optional Rear Active Steer Package ( same found on M45 Sport )
2) Sport Package now includes a new front fascia and side sills
3) Revised LED tail lights.
4) New bi-xenon headlights
5) Bluetooth wireless on all models
6) Memory seats

Note: I'm not sure if this applies to both coupe, sedan, or both

Well on the 05's premium package (which i have) u have bluetook wireless and memory seats for passenger and driver (i think passenger). Idk if u meant that no matter wat package u get, those are standard to the car.

Bluetooth was the one thing I wanted that was missing in the G. Still happy I bought the car, though!

The bi-xenons would be nice if true.
I noticed through Edmunds.com that Infiniti is offering $1000 dealer incentives on '05 sedans, 5AT and 6MT alike. It's that bargain-time of year...
If the changes outlined by brandon1978 are in fact correct, I'd toss that grand aside and wait for an '06 model.
