Hi all, I'm new to the G35 world. I have learned a wealth of information from this site. I have been reading for a couple of months. I have about 400 miles on the 05 sedan.
I have noticed horizontal (front to back) streaks on both front windows about 1/4 down from the top. The streaks are light/dark areas that seem to run from the front of the glass to the back. Has anyone else noticed this on the G? The windows have been tinted with Llumar tint.

 

there is actually a TSB out for this. i have it on my car as well. iirc, its something to do with lubrication staining the window when it goes up and down inside the door. i plan to have my dealer take care of it during my next visit.

edit: wait, you said horizontal streaks? i dont know what that would be then

 

How long have the windows been tinted? Sometimes it takes a week or so for the tint to "clear up" after tinting.

 

I'm not sure how long the windows have been tinted. The G was a dealer trade. The windows were tinted in Houston TX, and I bought it in Wichita KS.

 

Do you by any chance wear polarized sunglasses? If so, is that when you notice this?

 

Happend to me too, Its only in the garage with the lights on though, but during the day it looks normal. Its bc the tint you chose has metal in it.
