Input on drop

What is the difference between the available springs for the Sedan? the tein has 2 different listings for it and I can't figure it out. any help will be appreciated.

I'm inclined to the Eibach but would like to know what the difference with the Tein may be.

I'm not an expert but I just had teh Tein H Techs installed. The H lowers your car about an inch and the ride remains pretty much the same. I have the stock 6MT rims on my ride currently. The S will lower your car a bit more for a more aggressive look ( the drop will be about 1.5 in). My only concern with the S Tech was the possible need for a camber kit. If your looking to lower your car a little and want to keep the same ride comfort then go with the H Tech. Hope that helps.

There are others on the forum with more experience and knowledge and they may be able to answer your question in greater details.

I would recommend oem 2003 350Z springs for a 1" sedan drop, before Eibachs. No progressive spring compromise on behavior or performance and you can't beat the price, about $65 shipped in classifed ad's on my350z.com. I would not however recommend oem350Z springs if you have non sport shocks. Non sport shocks would be better with the Eibachs or the Tein H-techs.

As far as how to sedan Eibachs and sedan Teins differ. The Eibach's are progressive front and rear, while the Teins are progressive front and rear linear. The Tein's stiffen the front slightly and soften the rear quite a bit.

Eibach G35 Sedan 1.1"/1.1" drop
spring rates in lbs (initial/final rates) 259/334 front 359/413 rear
Stiffer peak rates then oem sedan sport springs by F +6% R +21%
Stiffer peak rates then oem non sport springs by F +18% R +34%

Tein H-tech G35 coupe & sedan 1.4"/.7" drop
spring rates in lbs 324/260
Stiffer of softer then oem sedan sport springs by F+ 5% R-22%
Transfers +27% roll stiffness to front

Oem 2003 350Z springs (linear front & rear)
Spring rates in lbs 314/342
Stiffer then oem sedan sport springs by F+0% R+0%
Stiffer then oem non sport springs (not recommended)
