Very impressed with the sedan
Yeah. People sometimes ask me, "Why didn't you get the coupe?" Silly rabbit. Because everyone gets the coupe for the looks. That's exactly why I didn't want one. It doesn't take an IQ to make a coupe look good. It's already sexy. The sedan has tons of potential in the looks category and is already a serious performer.
By the way: can someone please tell me why the base MSRP for the coupe is 2 grand more than the sedan? It has 2 less doors and the same hp. Where's the sense in that?

Having owned an 04 Z, an 04 G coupe and now my 05 sedan, I am definetely the most happy with the sedan. It feels as sporty as the Z without the constant bounciness, it feels as tight as my coupe, but with more space. I test-drove an 04 sedan as well, and my mind may be playing tricks on me, but my 05 feels so much tighter in terms of handling, suspension, etc.....but that was last year, so my memory could be off. Of course, windshield quality in Nissan has NOT gone up. I absolutely hate Nissan for their (lack of) quality in glass and paint (come on, two new windshields in 5 months)........

I really like the 05's new front-end and body colored side sills, and REAL aluminum trim. I am trying to negotiate with the dealer about the trade-in. Wish me luck guys!
Now, what the hell am I gonna do with the Volks, and Tein coilovers that just arrived for my coupe

Coupe's always cost more than sedans, I like to believe because coupe's have more engineering to them/sport stuff ??? Correct me if I'm wrong...
Coupe's got better seats, exhaust, the windows that do the little fold down thing when you open and close them, etc...

I test drove both before purchasing. Aside from the addictive tone of the exhaust, I didn't feel any real difference in the handling and performance.. at least with the 6MT.
Practicality and abilty to take on passengers without shoe-horning them in was a definite plus.
For some reason though I get little respect from coupe owners driving around town. A couple of exceptions after I was able to prove to them that my car could perform -- with a friendly wave.
