Thumbs up Very impressed with the sedan

The dealer is replacing the tranny in the coupe. So I got a loaner 04 G35 sedan. I've never driven a G sedan so I didn't know what to expect. But boy, this thing feels more nimble and easier to toss around than the coupe. The funny thing is it feels a lot lighter too And I think the auto trans is great on this car. I might gotten an auto if I test drove one before puchasing the 6mt . I just wanna let you sedan owners know I got new found respect for the sedan

Sedan
A lot of the coupe guys like to bag on the sedan, but the truth is most of them probably haven't even driven one. I'm glad you were pleasantly surprised.

PS - The sedan is lighter than the coupe. I don't know the exact numbers, but the coupe is a bit heavier.

the sedan weighs the same as the coupe. next time you pull up to a traffic light next to a sedan, you may have your a$$ handed to you. RESPECT!

Yes the sedan is a performer too. It feels lighter because it's 200 lbs lighter which has a big effect on the steering along with slightly smaller tires.
There's many a happy sedan owner out there, even with the A/T - I liked mine.

The sedan also has a better drag coefficient than the coupe. I've owned both now and I actually like driving the sedan better. Don't get me wrong, I love the coupe too - and you can't beat it's exterior styling, but in terms of drivability I just enjoy the sedan's handling better.

The G sedan is a great ride. My brother's '04 6MT sedan is one of the main reasons, which lead me to look into the Infiniti cars. My current needs were just a bit different at that time, so I went with the coupe.

The ride is much more comfortable and affords an excellent experience on road trips.

Nice to see coupe owner(s) appreciate the potential of sedans... It definitely surprises many that aren’t aware of what they can do.

Hell, if my coupe keep on giving me problems I will trade it in for the sedan. It's my 3rd day with the loaner now. And I'm liking more and more. It just seems more of a practical every day car. Are they giving great deals on sedans?

Exactly why the guys over here bought one!

I had paperwork for a 2003 coupe on the table ready to go - walked away because I couldn't convince myself I'd be able to live with the car. Wasn't crazy about the sedan back then.

When the 05 refresh hit I was sunk. It's a really nice car.

Now don't tell anyone or all the coupe guys will end up over here.. LOL.

Me too

I just traded my 04 6mt Coupe for an 05 SedanX. It was had to make the decision to leave the manual and the great looks of the coupe but after 2 weeks with sedan I'm very happy. The sedan is more comfortable, more useable space, performs great (I really like the auto) and I'm actually looking forward to getting snow (almost).
