OPPPPSSSSSS, I am trying to adjust the pedal so it is lower..

I have seen somewhere that you can turn something on the pedal with a 12MM and make it have less travel

I believe the procedure had been moved to the DIY forum. Do a search for clutch adjustment there. Someone had described the entire procedure with photos. I was going to do it, but I've got used to it the way it is, so I desided to leave it alone.

OOOps, it's under "Technical Modifications" forum not DIY as I previously told you. There's a link there to Freshalloy with pictures.

There are threads on this in all 350z and g35 forums. I read through most of them but had my own experience. It seems like you can adjust it by either threading the fork down the rod or by spinning the rod itself. I could not bust loose the nut behind the fork so I spun the rod. One thing that I found out is that it really helps to move the cruise control sensor out a bit if you are going to remove the fork. This gives a little more room to back out the pedal and free the fork.

I got used to the stock clutch pedal location so I had to readjust to the new position. IMO it's worth it and doesn't hurt to try.

I got in there tonight to play with it. Took the pin and bolt out and played with the notion of taking the fork off. But I'd have to pull the fork down really hard to get it off and around the clutch, and it just seems like I'd be applying too much force to something not meant to take it in order to drop that fork down low enough to slip it around the clutch.

So I'll have to find a 12mm and get that locknut off.
