Seek switch on stereo.....'05

I am wondering if anyone here has had an annoying small problem with their "seek" switch on the stereo, mine seems to stick in the up position, doesn't keep searching, just sticks in, then pops out. I'm just wondering if this is something that needs to be fixed, or if it's just because the car is new. Thanks!

Did they replace the whole unit, or just fix it?

Yeah, most likely, I will make a short list and take it in soon!

The orange plastic that covers your stereo display is misaligned and causing the button to stick. Mine does the same. I'm having it fixed at my next oil change.

Thanks for the reminder though, I mostly use the one on the wheel.

Oh, that makes sense, I didn't find it until now for the same reason, I usually use the wheel controls. Glad I reminded you!

I have the same problem on my 05. I have to take it in this weekend so I will try to get them to fix it and get the quarter out that is stuck under my ash tray.

Haha, unless it's rattling, just leave it there. They'll charge you $.50 to get it out.
