Funny I looked at all three of these cars before deciding on the G35. I would say the G35 and TL-S system were just about the same. Both Bose systems the Lexus definitly has a more powerful 300W system. But I didn't like the sound as much as the Bose systems.

I also looked at Linclon LS, Cadillac CTS and Audi A4... overall the G35 system is on par.... not that you couldn't build a much better system with aftermarket stuff

My last car I had Alpine head unit (mp3) with six disc changer (mp3). I had Infinity speakers 2 component, 2 six by nine and a subwoofer along with two 300 rockford fosgate amps. That blew away what I have now but it cost me over 2K to build that system with a lot of the stuff bought off Ebay.

 

Had the Acura TL, same Bose system as the TL-s, and I can tell you my standard non-Bose stereo in the G sounds better. The only advantage I can admit to is that the Acura's in-dash CD changer changed discs faster.

I am very impressed with my "standard" 160 W stereo system.
It really pumps out the bass and kicks ***! Can't imagine why
anyone would spend $900 for the Bose system, I have not heard
anything good about it.
