Any gen2 Stillen sedan exhaust owners?

Seems like all the searches I have done lead me to be believe that true duals produce more power than single pipe systems. The stillen is apparently one of the best, but was loud and droned.

The new improved stillen is quieter (per their site!) Are there any new gen2 owners who can vouch for this?

Are my above assumptions from searching wrong?

The Fuji seems to be a hot item among sedan owners, but I want something that will produce the best power gains, but be decently quiet.

I am stuck deciding between stillen true dual, Boral dual, greddy Evo 2, tanabe hyper medallion and the fuji. Every thing I pulled up on search has a different opinion or suggestion, please help recommend based on personal experience

Thanks!

i have the stillen ver. 1 true dual. I also have alphawerks headers and hf cats so my car is tad too loud.

does the ver 2 have the same power gains as the ver 1? and i thought that someone put the fuji muffler on the stillen piping? is that true?

Hey guys. I drove JBX's G35 with the new Stillen True Duals for the G35X. It's not too loud at all. But it does have a really exotic sound to it. Almost european. It has the sound of the coupe except it is much deeper. It also sounds a lot more powerful than one. The HP gains are definitely noticeable. So just buy it.

Anyone got a link to hear a sound of the Stillen v2 throughout the power band? I'm interested too but want a 'quiet' exhaust.

I've only heard the Borla and it sounds really nice. Its loud enough to know you have exhaust, but quiet enough that it won't bother you.

I have about the 3rd ver.1 system they made. I never thought it was excessively loud or droning and the power was great. But after I installed the Kinetix test pipes, it was insane. Awesome combination for power gains, but it was LOUD! Did I say it was loud? Rattled the panels inside the car. I had to do something or remove the test pipes. So I cut out the 2 original 14" resonators and welded in 28" ones instead. Major reduction in noise and didnt change the tone much at all. I would suspect that is what they did on Ver.2

I have the Gen2 on my X also. With the windows and moonroof closed its very quiet. Fit is good also. It does sound a bit like the M3 when you push the car....not ricey @ all.

I wasn't going for that.......The new cat back was revamped to include the X in the fitment roster. The transfer case on the X always excluded the X from all the available cat back systems.....so after much begging Stillen came up with their new and improved (quieter) one fits all model. Biggest problem was that most all of the after market guys are located on the left coast and don't have great access to the AWD X for R&D and also felt that the demand wasn't there.....wrong. It's a good system that works and it's well made. JBX
