Cleaning Interior Plastic

I did some interior cleaning this weekend on my new sedan. I used Meguiar's Vinyl/Rubber Protectant on all the vinyl surfaces. I used the Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer for the plastic surfaces, i.e. the door panels, but it doesn't seem to get it looking clean. There's this white haze on it that is very faint. Is this just the way plastic is? Any plastic cleaners to recommend? Thanks.

I just use a damp MF towel.
I hate the shiney look that some cleaners give.

How do I determine which surfaces are vinyl and which are leather?
