At least the Benz and BMW side pillar colors match the headliner, not the G which has the beige/tan side plastic pillar which does not match the neutral color headliner.

What was Infiniti thinking when they designed the oil dipstick.

Oh, and the bose
Honestly, I know exactly what they were thinking when they included the Bose stereo system. They know that Kelley Blue Book will increase the used value of the car just for the name “Blose”. If they put Mark Levinson or Blaupunkt I am sure that KBB wouldn’t have given the car as much credit. Basically everyone who doesn’t know good audio thinks that Bose is great! Heck with all of the compression that XM radio has I guess it really doesn’t matter what stereo you have. It all sounds like crap. I listen to “AM” talk radio so I couldn’t care less about how good the stereo is. I do care about the resale value though. If you don’t like the stereo then save yourself some serious $$ and don’t get the premium package. As for the Hurendas. Yes that was a pretty stupid idea!

here's a fix

In a word - BOSE.

I've never heard such a bad system for a car of this price. ****, even Ford's MACH Audio systems sound better. One would figure they would contract Harmon International's Infinity brand just because of the name - notwithstanding Harmon system are vastly better.

At least they should have made it an option for the 7.1 Bose Acoustic Mass DTS/DD system like in the M - it's not the best but it's a definite step up.

I really like the analog clock.

I wish they would make the car a little wider front and back, but I love the side and 3/4 view.

No more orange dash lights!

It's a bizatch to clean....the first time I washed it I used a microfiber to dry. After I took a quick spin to pick up dinner I noticed I had water streaks all over the side of the car from the door handles and fuel filler cap.

Oh yeah, and the fact you have to touch the car to open the fuel door....thanks Infiniti.

Spend more time making the interior rattle free.

That said, still my fav car.

I used to listen to AM exclusively; mostly political stuff. Now I'm all about sports talk. The problem is with the exception of a few hours every night, our local sports talk scene just doesn't fit my tastes; so I wanted XM to listen to the national ESPN radio broadcast. While I love it, the compression is absolutely horrible. When I do listen to a music channel(squizz) on XM, I am quite disappointed.

1.) didn't paint the side mirror bases

2.) didn't come out with projectors for all HID applications in the first place

3.) put the net map holders on the back of the front seats

4.) made a cup holder that will only hold one cup or two cans - this is america everybody super sizes!

What was Infiniti thinking when they put the seat controls in the bolster
I don't understand why folks object to this. I like it -- don't have to lean down when driving to adjust the seat. I understand that some folks think it makes the seat uncomfortable -- but I'm 5'6" and 180 lbs. -- so I'm not thin and my butt still fits in the seat without coming anywhere close to the controls.

Regarding the Turanzas/Goodyears: I don't know why you're all so surprised. You'd think nobody had ever heard of the term "low bid." Why eat an extra $400 in supplier costs to put Michelins on there when the fodder... I mean buyer will snap up your product as long as the tires are round and black? But yeah, it's a cheap way to increase your bottom line.

And my pick: What's with the wimpy exhaust compared with the coupe? My Altima 3.5 had duals; the four cylinder Legacy GT friggin' station wagon I almost bought has duals; heck, even the Neon poseur SXT with its 150 horsepower has duals. Yet they saddle my 298-horsepower sedan with the cosmetic exhaust design of a Camry.

I hated this too.
I don't think it's limited to the G though..

I broke down & bought a leaf blower to solve the problem.
Just blow the handles, mirrors, gas lid, trunk etc.

Then use you're MF towel.

No more streaks
