Stainless Steel Pillar Posts, should I?
There are stainless steel pillar posts out for our sedans. They costs $82.50. Do you guys think this would look good on my DG? Does anyone have these or seen them on a G?

The reason I was thinking of it was because of te crome line around the window and and door handles. It seems right now they stand out too much and the black pillars dont quite belong, so I figured these would help give it a better classier look. I also plan to get chrome lower fenders, which Infiniti dealerships now offer (but online is 60 buck cheaper).

cf would look good if you accent with other carbon fiber, i.e. hood, shopping cart spoiler.
in my opinion, the chrome pillars would look ok on any color besides black. especially a white sedan with chrome wheels. it would really tie in the car. it does not look very sporty, but it does look better than the cheaper looking non-paint matched pillars.
i too, thought about modifying by pillars, and the rest of that of that plastic chrome crap, but then i would loose the ability to match my polished lip rims. on that note, don't do it, unless you've got bright rims.

Personally I'm trying to get rid of the "shinny"/"Chrome" look... I'm currently going through great pains to change the overall look by making all polished aluminum trim and door handles dark. So for me this would be out of the question.
On the other hand, I applaud any effort to make your G look different from all the others on the road. For polished aluminum/chrome fans, I think the billet pillars are okay - just not my thing (but I don't like chrome wheels on my car either - although I agree they look fine on other Gs).

After reading everyones posts, I've decided to wait. I'll have to wait a few months to save up some money, plan to get some chrome rims, the stainless still pillar posts, and some chrome finished lower billet grills. I think it will look better with all these on at the same time to give it an all around clean classy look. I am not interested in making my car look sporty, rather go with the luxery. Since the G is a sport luxery sedan, Ill go with luxery. =P Thanks for all your posts, and look forward to pics of the G in a few months.

he already decided to wait and go with a 'VIP' type theme once he gets more components. i'm actually looking forward to the radical departure from the path the rest of us take our vehicles. take a look at my pics and you'll see what i mean.
