So I was talking with the sales person about finding me a car (because they haven't been able to find one with the option i want). In doing so, he said he had one with everything but the GPS (which I don't really need). There was one option that I don't want, but I am not paying for: Chrome 17" rims. Now my plan was to have a nice set of 18" rims for the summer and the stockers for the winter. This was the sales guy reply: "I was talking to my service manager about that and he said that it would void the warranty. We had a guy come in with 20's that burnt up his CPU nd killed his AWD system." My questions are how many of you AWD people have larger than stock rims and have you had any problems?? I mean, how many Subaru's, Evo's, and other cars with AWD and larger than stock rims?? A lot. Also, if you keep the tire with in specs of the aspect ratio, there shouldn't be a problem.

Oh, the car I have signed on is an 05 G35x, jus in case you were wondering...and I am still not sure when I am picking it up. Thanks for the insight.
