Getting a new daily driver this weekend!
Just leased a new '05 G35 Sedan 6MT with Nav, Premium and Sports package, silver with black leather. This new daily driver will have 298 hp! I'm picking it up on friday, can't wait.
MSRP $36.6, invoice $33.5, I negotiated the lease price down to $33.1 (that's right, 400 below invoice). 12k miles/yr, money factor 140, 36 months, residual 59%, comes out to $425 including tax. A buddy leased a coupe a month ago without the Nav and he's paying $540/month. So I got a really sweet deal.
Been spending so much money on the bmw lately.
Last three months: $1000 for 19 inch Toyos, another $1000 for brake pads/rotors and fan belts, and just two weeks ago, $2000 for a new transmission!
My car only has 67k miles and the transmission broke, wouldn't go into reverse. Anyways, the transmission would have actually cost $4000 but my dealer convinced BMW to split the cost. Never thought the bmw quality would be this poor. My Chevy Astro van lasted at least twice as long and the transmission is still good.
I will probably get rid of the bmw as soon as I find a good looking C5 Corvette! Can't really take the C5 to get the grocery. With the G35 sedan, I have the best of both world.
Will post some pics later this weekend.

WOW! AWSOME DEAL
my fav color combo too, silver with blk....i want the sport and NAV as well prem C!
congrats!
you muct tint the windows...looks awsome with the silver.
i am still holding out cause i cant decide if i want to bone up and go with a 330i...i have now fallen in love with it after my 3rd test drive...(wasnt impressed the first time, loved it the 2nd time...3rd time has me obsessed between the G and the 3!)
you comments scare me though about the quality. i hear horror stories about BMW's quality all the time. but it seem isolated. i have been on the e90 boards for sometime and it seems as random as an infiniti owner haveing issues.
well, anyway, congrats!!

Just keep in mind that it costs more to maintain a BMW. This is especially true of BMWs out of guarantee. Look up edmunds and you'll find out that it cost the same to maintain an '01 BMW 330 as it does an '04 G35. This is after considering finance, depreciation, maintenance, repairs, and car purchase cost. If you look up Consumer Reports, the G35 is more reliable.
If you lease your cars, then I don't think it matters as much. Well the BMW costs about 10k more.
So I'm picking up my car later today. I've sat in one but never test drove a sedan before making this purchase. I did test drive a coupe 6MT though. So I'm excited to get the car. My drive home will be my first drive!
