Just got my new G!!

Got it from Miller Infiniti in Van Nuys. David Marsh is the Internet manager and he was simply great in handling the deal.

Got a DG/black base G35 with sports package:

Invoice: $29,773 (Edmunds)
Paid: $27,635. $2138 below invoice!!

The car is great! I've been a little paranoid about the seat problem. I drove the car for 30 mins and my right thigh feels kinda funny compared to the left one. Might be some psychological cuz I just went work out and didn't experience any discomfort. Also, it seems that some moron pulled a fuse out of the fuse box cuz I found a 10A fuse in the ashtray and my clock and turn signals don't work (at least they don't show on the dashboard). I also noticed that the ABS, airbag lights don't come up when I first turn the key.

Is the RDS feature only available with the Bose radio?

Hmmm.... You should really take a trip Back to the dealer and have them check out your electrical issues. It doesn't sound like a fuse issue to me.

None-the-less, Congrats on the G.

Awesome purchase! Has anyone got a brand new G35 for less than this guy ($27,635)!? I paid $29k for my base 6mt about 2 months ago.

You can pop open the fuse box, next to the dead pedal, and see if one is missing. The owner's manual might list what each fuse is for. Otherwise, you can take it to the dealer and have them sort it out. Since they were messing with the car before you bought it, you might want to ask what they were doing and have them thoroughly check things out.

I will most likely take it to Tustin Infiniti for the check out. I live 1 hour away from the dealer I bought it from.

That is a ridiculous price! Heck used 05 Sedans are listed for a lot more than that at CarMax! You got a steal on that car if everything is ok with it. I wonder what Carmax would give you for it? I bet it would be pretty close to what you paid. How many miles does it have on it? If it sat on the lot for a long time I would think it would have quite a few miles. Is this why it was so cheap? Are you sure it was never wrecked? I think dealers can wreck a car and if the damage is under a certain amount they don’t have to disclose that it was ever repaired even if they sell it as brand new. At least that happened to a friend of mine at a Charlotte NC Honda dealership.

I got my IP 6MT premium sedan for $1835 below invoice from Glendale Infiniti. The car was on the lot for maybe 10 days and had all the wrappers still on it. One big plus, is that they DO NOT drill the front bumper and put the license plate frames on, so that alone was worth a few hundred dollars to me.

What was the final selling price? When did you get it? That sounds like an awesome deal. Why would anyone buy an 06 with the 05 prices so low? Heck the 04s are not that much lower.

The car I got has 8 miles on the odometer . It still had all the wrapper on. I was originally going in to buy a base auto G35 for $27K (Dark blue/grey or serengeti sand/black). Test drove the sports suspension and I was sold . Besides I like the graphite interior and DG better. Miller, Santa Monica, and South bay all offered base G35s in the $27K range. However, Santa Monica and South bay offered me those prices on cars that had been on the lot for +6months.

Oh I forgot to add that I also got 1.99% APR for 36 months

Probably because they carry more options. This car only has sports.

Most of them had the premium package. However, I think there was one that didn’t even have that. Carmax uses the KBB value solely. Therefore, they give you almost no credit for the premium package or the sport package as KBB does not consider it to be an option that adds value to the car. However, they do give you credit for the Blose stereo! How ironic! Anyway a Base G35 will fetch almost the exact same amount from CarMax as a G35 with the sport and Premium packages because of the KBB oversight! They see the cars as basically the same. They also will sell the cars for basically the same amount. It sounds like the thing to do is buy an 05 base and sell it to them then buy one of their fully loaded minus the navigation 05 G35s. You might actually break even or make a profit on it if they don’t realize their mistake first!
