Need Advice on 19" Wheels
New to the site and very happy to have found it. I just picked up a 05 sedan AT with sports package and want to change the wheels to 19" staggered. I like the way the rims look and wouldn't mind changing the rims to the ones that come on the 6mt coupe. Can I just buy the 19" from the coupe and put them on without a problem?? Also, I want to drop the car with as set of springs and want to make sure that I don't have issues with rubbing. Sorry for the ignorance but I really don't know much about the wheels setups.
skydiver- short answer - yes, you can. and a few springs will work, depends on the tire size.
there are hundreds of possible combinations of rim widths and spring combinations. check out the wheel forum on this site. lots of good info there about this exact setup. search on whatever brand of spring you want to get.

I can help here....
The Coupe wheels will fit, but the rears WILL RUB. Don't let anyone lie to you about that. You can run (4) front rims and tires from the coupe, but that's no fun. This solution is pretty costly, even if you find it from a coupe owner. My recommendation is to just buy some new wheels and do something different.
If you want staggered wheels on the sedan, you have some measurements that you are just stuck with. I owned a coupe and now a sedan, so there are differences. MAKE SURE TO VERIFY THAT THE RIMS YOU GET ARE FOR THE SEDAN. I made that mistake once already.
On the front, you can run up to a 8.5, and in the rear a 9.5 (10" if it's custom made). These will fit nicely, and not give you issues when you lower it, have a heavy load, or invite a bunch of fat friends for a ride! The rear is the most picky. The offset for a 9.5 wheel can not go any lower than a 47mm offset. It's PERFECT for a 9.5 and will be right on the edge of the fender without rubbing (check out my pics). The front looks nice with a 8.5 rim and a max of 38mm offset.
I ran 20 x 8.5s all the way around, with a 38mm offset, and it's flush. Do a quick search for my sedan pics (lots posted).
