In the manual for the sedan it says to use premium for optimum performance, however you can use the low grade. I've always use premium, so I don't know how it will run with the cheap stuff.

even though gas prices are high, switching from 91 to 89 isnt gonna make that much of a difference, i drive high miles 25K plus a year and I'd rather just pay the $1-2 each time and get 91.

If u can afford this car, im sure you can afford the $1-2.

Premium is the top one. Best. Stupendious. The most expensive one that doesn't say: DIESEL. 92 octane (91 in California)

No, it not the middel or even the middle, it's the highest 91/93 depending where you live.

6mtpnut said $1-2 each time (fill-up), not per gallon. Assuming premium is $0.10 per gallon more than the middle grade then the cost difference for a tank of fuel is $2.00. I agree with 6mtpnut, it's probably worth the small difference in price to get the premium. Besides performance increase, you will see a small increase in mileage to offset some of the cost difference. At $3.00 per gallon, it would only take an increase of about 3% in mileage to completely offset the fuel price increase. I do not think that is unrealistic.

Huh? Are you saying that premium fuel is, or is not worth the extra $2.00?

i dunno if ur just begging to get flamed on here, but ur realllllly startin to sound like sawdigga from a while back, and we never saw him here again. i dunno whats up with ur vocab, but u gotta be at least 16 to get a G, and i know they teach u how to type before then.

i dunno about new york, but in LA, premium/super/v-power/chevron with techron/whatever u wanna call it, is always placed to the farthest right at the gas pumps. fyi just dont ever pump anything that says deisel into ur car. its gonna cost less than $2.00 per fill up to go from 89 to the top end. its worth it as it does increase MPG due to ur engine not retarding timing to compensate for the lower octane fuel.

plus if im not mistaken, it does say premium octane only in the manual.

im not tryin to be an *** in anyway, and i honestly say this in all sincerity, but please try to spell ur words correctly, and make sure ur sentences make sense. its gonna make it oh so much easier for ppl on the boards to help u out with any questions u got if we can actually understand what ur trying to say.
