Okay smartguy

What I meant was that it is funny that there is this automatic assumption that the 3 is the car to beat. They put BMW first and then compare everything to them instead of letting the merit of the car decide which is best.

Interesting feedback. Just goes to show, you need to drive before you buy. Also, manuals are more fun.

Yes, manuals are definitely more fun. I have an auto G because I drive in traffic 90% of the time, but out on a track like that manuals definitely give you more connection to the car. The 350's auto shifting is nice, though.

Well, it's no secret that the 3 is the benchmark. I found the G35 "aging gracefully" in 3rd place a pretty accurate finish. Still beat the TL, A4 3.2, CTS, etc...

OMG that's in Toronto!

I didn't know they were having test drives or else I would've went! The Lexus invite said nothing about there being test driving. I. Am. So. Pissed!

Where was the driving being done??

Heya - the driving was at the molson indy park. The invite for the brassaii thing didn't include the driving info, I actually got into that through a friend of mine who has a pre-order on an IS350. I'm not sure how they contacted him.

I agree that the 35k should mean 35k.. and that the 330 shouldnt be there and all..

But in all honestly, its true. The G35 is finally aging, and new competition are moving it down the ranks. Doesen't mean its still not a great car, but you have to face the truth.
