Wheels And Springs Options. Need your advice please.

Sorry guys I know this topic has been discussed till death. However, I need your comments and feedback. I’m looking to put a set of 19” on my sedan and I set of lowering springs. I’m looking for an aggressive clean look if that makes sense. I want the wheels to look as if they fit perfectly. Don’t want them sticking out too much at all. I hope I make sense here.

I've narrowed down my choices of wheels to the following:

- OZ Superleggera III Light grey w/Polished Lip.
19x8.5 in the front. Off set 33mm. This is the offset Tirerack recommends. The offset sounds a bit off. Any comments??

19x9.5 in the rear. Off set 46mm.

- PIAA Super Rozza Hyper Black: Could not find a correct off set for 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 so I chose
19x8 in the front. Off set 42mm or 35mm. Which one is better??

19x9 in the rear. Off set 45mm.

- SSR GT 10
19x8 in the front. Off set 41mm. This is the offset Tirerack recommends. The offset sounds a bit off. Any comments?? Also, they don’t offer the wheel in 8.5.

19x9.5 in the rear. Off set 55mm. This off set seems quite big. Any comments.

With regards to the springs I’m looking to put Eibachs pro-kit. The reason is the brand name and the life time warranty and no sag.

Guys, I would appreciate all the comments.

It looks like you've done a lot of homework.

Here is my recommendation.

FRONT 19x8.5 +35 to +38 w/ 245/35/19 (+33 will work also)
REAR 19X9.5 +42 to +45 w/ 275/30/19 (+46 will work also)

As for the lowering springs, I also have the Eibach prokit and am very happy with them. The progress rates are as close as you can get to OEM and it makes the car very comfortable to drive it lowered. Can't go wrong!

If you keep your wheels within the above specs you will have a nice flush look.

Good Luck.

Chico,

After reading so many post on wheels and seeing your name I was hoping you would answer. Thank you so much. I definitely will take your reccomendations.

Once I have the set up I'll post the pics.

Is there any rubbing issues with the off sets you are talking about. I want to avoid at all costs any issues and having to roll my fenders.

I have the Piaa Super Rozza 19" on my car absolutely love them. I went with the hyper black, look sweet on a silver car. I paid $3100.00 I think for the package, went with Continential tires. You won't be dissappointed with these wheels.

You will be ok but if you go lower than the Eibach prokit height you may need to roll your fenders a little. BTW, I like all your wheel choices.

I think +33 is cutting it VERY close. I would not go smaller than +35mm.

so between 35 and 40 which would be "better" for a non-staggered setup?

You're right it is not the recommended offset, but the difference between the two is less than 1/8" further out. He will be ok if he likes that wheel he mentioned.

Either one, but I prefer the +35 cause it will be nice and flush with the fender line.

A lot depends on his choice in tires as well.
