Re: You guys are gonna KILL ME!
Here's the list of performance mods done on the car:
Stillen Performance Exhaust (gutted cats and resonator too)
Blitz CAI
Nismo Cams (JDM spec) <-- buddy is an importer let me know if you want some
Nitrous Express 50 shot
Just exhaust got me to 14.2 after gutting everything. CAI brought that to 14 flat. Cams and N2O went in same time. Best pass: 13.406 @ 112.3 MPH.
03½ Sedan/Nav/Prem/Wood (Wrecked)

Re: You guys are gonna KILL ME!
www.courtesyparts.com has the Nismo cams for the VQ35DE and they have them priced at $1500 for the R-Tune set...

I almost did the same except i was going to trade the G for a SRT4...thankgod i dont make decisions without having dinner and sleeping on it...which i did...i did some research and i came to my senses...i said "wait a minute why the heck would i trade japanese car which looks really good for a Dodge Neon AKA SRT4 and american which they are known for being good for about 4 years maybe less if they can handle the racing life...i am glad i did not do the trade, but to each its own...enjoy your car, let us know what you find exciting and not so exciting!!!

I must admit, I used to be a Dodge fan. I had a Stratus R/T, and it was nice, obviously nothing compared to the G. BUt I must admit, the SRT-4 isn't what you'd expect from a Neon. I must admit, I do actually like it. No matter what car i've had, i've always taken pride in it, so you should too. Good luck with it and hope you're recovering well.

lol.. first, this thread is 3 years old. I'm sure that by now the Neon has already found most of it's original parts in the city dump and this guy probably drives a Charger or something different. What an awful, awful thread to dredge up. But hey, at least none of you can complain that he didn't use the search before making a new thread about it. +1 for you.

There are domestics I wouldn't mind driving, if I wasn't looking at the niche the G35 is in.
In my case, when I first saw a G35 I had never even heard of them, and for some reason it attracted my attention. But if I was just looking for basic transportation, or coupes, there are domestics I would consider.
