Didn't have to jack up the car.
What metal are you referring to?
The 1" extensions on the bumper frame?

- It bolts up the same as the regular bumper.
- 2 bolts in each wheel wells + all the rest
- you need to take off the side marker bracket & pop-rivet to the Nismo
- there's 4 plastic duct pieces that come off (behind OEM)
- you need to trim about 1" from the bottom of the aluminum square stock at each end of the support frame.
It helps to have an extra pair of hands when putting on the car;
fittment is tight.
That's about it...
Ahhh.. my bad.. i was thinking in "Acura" mode. I just replaced my wifes MDX front bumper and used clips.
You think i will be able to reach the bolts in the well with 19's?

Just turn the wheel & bend the plastic back a bit.
Works evan easier if you have a long socket extension.
Ok, so i got the front aero on, but got a few questions.
1. How come I got left over a couple of extra bolts and clips? I think I took too many off. Does the Aero bumper use less clips/bolts?
2. Why didn't anyone tell me i needed a rivet gun? lol I had to drive to Lowe's with no bumper. hahah
3. WHy is this bumper so PHAt!!!!
I'll post pics later when I get my sides and rear done. I love this thing!!! It definitely makes my car go faster.. LOL jk

If you subtract the 1 hour i wasted going to Lowe's and getting the rivet gun, it only took about 1.5-2 hours. I didn't have jack stands so it took me a little longer to get to the bottom clips and bolts. Real straight forward. If you got the OEM Aero, then it is a perfect fit. The hardest part was getting to the 2 screws in the wheel well that hold the bracket for your side markers. If I would have taken my wheels off and used stands, then it would have been no problem. But it is very do-able. It was one of those nuts that you can use a rachet for but also had the middle carved out for a phillips screwhead (if that made any sense).
hope this helps.
