Are Aero Painted Sidesills = 03-04 Sidesills?

Are they the same exact piece or are the Aero sidesills different than the Black plastic ones? I'm debating whether or not to buy the sidesills or to have them painted, but I'm curious how long it would take to get them painted.....

The aero's are different, but not that much.
They turn out a little more at the wheels & don't curve in as much along the bottom

I painted mine the turn around was 2 days.
I had the rear bumper done as well.

You've probably seen this pic already, but just in case you haven't......

are you saying that that is what it looks like just by painting the stock black rubber sides and part under the rear bumper??

Cost is the question..because I can't justify 600 for the side sills plus whatever the rear diffuser runs.. the nismo bumper in my opinion is highway robbery though.. $1100

Painted sidesills?

Ian the paintjob on your sides and rears looks great in silverstone. Looks like the paint matches perfectly.

Has anyone else out there tried this, except with Brilliant Silver, and gotten great results? I've seen a couple cars but it was evident that they were painted - the colour didn't quite match up.
