heated seats

i just recently started to use the heated seats in my car and a while ago i heard people complaining that only the bottom of the seat gets warm.
When i turned it on yesterday the back support on my seats gets warm too.

volvo seat warmers are the best (in the older ones at least). Sweeden is a VERY cold country and if you disconnect the sensor you can burn your butt hahah.

G's I tried yesterday, they were slightly warm on high, but maybe they are linked to temperature, so a cab temp > 60 F would be warmer?

I seriously doubt the seat warmers are variable with the temp controls. I may be wrong, but most have two settings, warm and warmer, and each setting is fixed.

Personally, I couldn't give a darn about this feature, cause even on the coldest of days I don't use it. What I'd rather have is the ventilated seat feature, like in the new IS350.

THe heated seats in my 05 just get warm. If this as good as it gets or are mine defective. I have not tried them in cold weather yet.

These seat warmers work well. But it's so easy to whack the on-button without knowing it & your notice when butt starts getting hot. (BMW warmers get so hot you need to shut-off withing a couple of minutes.)
