I can;t vote, since I have an '03 - my 03.5 sedan had a squeaky driver seat when in the 100% back position (how I drive). I brought it in and they replaced the seat harness (?) and the squeak was no more.

My '04 sedan has or should I say had two rattles. One in the speaker in the driver's door and one in the rear view mirror. The door speaker has been fixed and there is a new mirror on order to correct that one.

My 04 so far has no rattles or squeaks - over 1 year of ownership. Knock on wood!

i just thought it was really surprising for me... since they said that the seat issue was fixed for the 05... my 05 had a loose seat adjuster which just got replaced. wonder if it'll come back... only time will tell.

My 03 sedan has rattles from time to time, doesn't happen often. One or two rattles from somewhere in the front of the car appear when going over some rough pavements.

I think the seat issue was different on the '03-'04, mine would pop and rock slightly something in the seat rail, sounds like you just had a loose part.

nope... mine would rock slightly and make popping/clicking noises as i drove around. definitely seemed like the same "rocking chair" issue from the 03/04. i guess i'm not clear as what was done on the 03/04 to fix the issue... if it was a loose seat adjuster or even a bad one... then that would be the same issue.

Quote: My 03 Sedan has no squeaks or rattles... unless I load my toolbox in the trunk.
Rattles and squeaks are largely a product of where you live in the US. Roads are generally much better in states that have a consistent weather pattern and don't suffer from salty winters, high clay soils, and 100+ degree weather.

Come live in the Midwest for a couple weeks and drive on roads/highways with frost heaves, washboard roads, pavement cuts and cracks thanks to high shrink/swell clay base soils, and roads that have to deal with salty sub-20 degree winter weather and scorching 100+ degree summer heat. Your G will rattle and squeak when it runs across these roads. Even my friend's 01 Lexus GS400 rattles. On nice smooth roads, my G is noise free. If I hit a 1" frost heave, it will jar the interior plus you'll have sworn you bent a rim.

Seat TSB for '03-'04 Is this the same thing they did to yours?

Creaks/squeaks/rattles
Infiniti has it as an issue, here's the link:

They would fix this under warranty.
