Feeling nasuated when driving G in stop and gos?

I never had this feeling before as I love to drive but lately I have pinned down to only when I'm driving my G that I feel nasuated. Highway crusing is no problem but just in regular local driving with Stop and goes or in bumper to bumper traffic. Anyone feels the same? My mom is demanding that I should upgrade to a full size or larger car that I use to drive as she is getting car sicked everytime she rides with me.

I thinks the curprit is the grippy brakes and ultra responsive accelerator pedal. Maybe the combination of wind/road noises at the right frequency.

Take some Alka Selzer before you leave the house. (lol)

lol - how can you post this and not expect to be flamed? Either you have an exhaust leak or need a Camry.

In all seriousness, I think you need to work on your car control skills in terms of smoothness. Skilled drivers avoid using jerky motions when accelerating or braking or steering (I'm assuming your sedan is an auto, so I'm leaving shifting out of it). Everything should be one fluid motion, regardless of how hard or soft you are driving. In fact, skilled drivers absolutely minimize brake usage and control the vehicle using the accelerator. Being aware of what's around you and what's ahead of you also allows you to plan in advance how you need to control your car.

Perhaps the reason you did not feel car sick in other cars is that they were larger, heavier, more softly sprung, and had less responsive brakes and acceleration. Now, you've got a car that exposes more flaws in terms of any driving skills.

I'm not trying to beat you up here, but the context of your post sounds like you're a teenage driver without alot of seat time. Hope this helps.

I've noticed that a lot of people don't modulate the brakes to avoid whiplash. Everytime you brake start releasing the brake pedal when you are about to full stop. Also, in stop and go don't hit the gas right away when there is some space in front of you. just release the brakes so the car starts rolling and accelerate slowly.

Have the dealer check for an exhaust leak of some kind - that will certainly make you sick if it's coming into the car!

Also, go easier on the brake and the gas hun! It doesn't have to throw you forward and backward everytime you hit the pedal

J/K - it's probably an exhaust leak or a leak somewhere letting the outside exhaust from the other cars around you in. Good luck finding out the cause!

Does "around town" include a trip to the McDonald's drive thru?

Just making sure there aren't any lurking variables...

It started 3 month ago when I had a grocery bag stucked to my exhaust. But its was clean up by the dealer. The first week this happend I almost passed out on my way to work at the usual 12 minutes drive.

And I do expect to be flamed, haha. But I'm secure enough to express my opinion. I just wondering perhaps someone is experiencing the same issue that just afraid to be flamed and just quietly got rid of the G.
