How much to compromise with tint job?

I got my windows tinted by David at Tint Zone. I'm noticing that there is like a 1mm gap between the defroster and the film at every line. Is this normal in the G? The defroster lines seems to be thicker than most other cars. I was checking some of my friends car tints and the rear window tint looks flush. This gap is also causing the dazzle effect where the headlight lights refract on the defroster lines. Should I get the rear window retinted?

The gap lessened over a couple weeks as I left the car in the sun and also used my defoggers (specifically for the purpose of reducing the gaps)

Give it a couple weeks before you make any action (I assume it's a new tint)

Yeah I got it done on Tue night. I thought the shrinkage of any bubble/gap occurred in the first 36 hours
I might use the defoggers later today if that helps, although its going to be like 85F degrees in LA today

My brother owns a Tinting shop and he says "give it a week" it should dry and adhere to the window better with time.

I'm experiencing the same issue as you are, especially the light dazzling effect. I got my car tinted at Tint Zone by David too. I've tried using the rear defroster and it hasn't really helped.

Did you get your windows retinted or did the problem go away? If you did get it retinted, did all your rear defroster lines work afterwards?

Thanks!

He agreed to retint all windows except the 2 front ones. He retinted the rear, but I still get the dazzling effect. The defrosters seem to be working fine.
