mike beyah, this will help you out once you figure out the offset of the rear wheels

according to that article a +55 offset on a 10" would still rub but not as much as a +45 so make sure u get the 55

Depending on the tires, you could probably avoid any fender rolling with the +55 offset.

That is a perception that many have.

With large rears the car will plough.
(adj. sways will let you tune this somewhat)

I used to run a slight stagger 225 front and 245 rear.
I now run 255 all around & the handling is amazing; much more neutral.
When I get into the twisties now, it says gimmie, gimmie, gimmie..

Yeah, it is pretty extreme. 1" (8 front and 9 rear) is about all you want to go and ideally you'd want shift that 9" rim offset so that you've only increased the rear track by 1" or less. With the stagger you're thinking about, you could possibly increase the rear track by 2" to 2.5" overall and assuming you're increasing the front track by 1" to 1.5". Having wider rims and a wider track will basically overwork the front tires and will induce more understeer. With the stagger you're proposing, understeer could increase by quite a bit. It may look really cool, but from a performance standpoint, it won't be very benefical.

You can tune out some of the understeer by airing up the rears a bit more than the fronts and getting adjustable swaybars, but it's more a Band-Aid fix and really isn't ideal because of the twitchy behavior the car may exhibit.

I'm not really trying to mess with sway bars, I used to have them on my car and I ended up selling them, but they did help a lot, I used to hit 90 degree left turns doing 65-ish with rims, drop, and sways, with no tire squeal whatsoever. Now I've got a drop, and I just need some nice rims to complete the look. I guess I am gonna just hold off on these rims for now because of the understeer and rubbing issues...Thankyou for all your help guys.. I'll be sure to post again when I find another set of rims I want, lol.

If you don't want to go staggered...DPE and IFORGED can do 8.5 all around with a staggered offset, so you get a bigger lip in the rear but you'll keep same size tires all around.

That would be your best solution for looks and performance. I know they custom fit everything they make so don't worry about the offsets just tell them what you want and that you like MAX lip front and back.

I'm honestly pissed off at DPE now...why would they make 19x8 by 19x10 rims if it would cause so much understeer?

I've seen quite a few members with DPE's running this set-up...what are the positives?

Those members have coupes. Coupes are designed to have a staggered set-up.

The coupe suspension is really that different from the Sedans? I guess you're right, they come from the factory staggered.

How about rims that are....

2 Front wheels - 19 x 8.5 + 25 offset
2 Rear wheels - 19 x 9.5 + 25 offset
2 Front - 245 /35
2 Rear - 275/35

On my dropped sedan?

I keep re-reading this post...so basically staggered on the sedan is just a big no-no? Is that the general concensus?

No way. The offsts to those wheels are for a coupe.

If you want a stageered set-up for your sedan go with the tried and true:
19x8.5 +38
19x9.5 +45
