I have seen quite a few of these in the bay area. One thing that bugs me when you see them drive down the highway is that their exhaust pipes are shaking like hell. Can't lexus fix that?

I thought I'd reply to this old post because there are MANY IS350 owners now that have gone 13.6-13.8@102-104mph in stock and mostly stock IS350s. These cars are impressively quick. I hope the new G35 is just as quick.

Good point and I'm with ya on the new G. Hopefully Infiniti will pay attention to power, parisitic loss and weight.

1. Calm down
2. Here's some proof:

I've driven the IS350, and in a straight line it will edge-out a stock G35.

G35 timeslips for comparo:

The fastest that I have seen the IS350 in the 1/4 has been anywhere from 13.3-13.8...the cars with the 13.3 time had only intake, while running 13.8 right off the show room floor...I dont know about you guys but thats pretty impressive for a stock V6 car, and if I were to ever line up against one in a G coupe, stock for stock I would get my a$$ handed to me, even if I had 6speed...We would not beat this car without a significant amount of mods...whats the fasted time for a NA G35??? There are guys over there on the Lexus board that are barking the tires on the 1-2 shift....there are real time slips to prove these times if any of the non believers need to see for them selves......another FYI guys... the the VDIM can be turned off...totally different car in the twisties, but Im sure it wont be able to out handle the G35 in the twisties...I think the new rule for posting about other cars in comparison is to state real world facts before posting comments...Lexus have obviously done its homework because for some reason we are all discussing this car and some making assumptions against how it will fair against the G coupe..I love the G but its by far not the best thing since slice bread....and the comment of beating an is350 by 3 cars....i doubt that will happen in a real life race!!! I give credit where its due guys...and its very much due!!!!!! if u need proof of this I will be glad to provide links!!! I think its going to do a little more than edge out a stock g35 coupe......here is some proof :there is even a video somehwere in there
