i wouldn't think so.. the Altima is FWD so the exhaust inlets will be positioned differently and routed differently do to no transmission and drive shaft, The whole rear end of the G35 Sedan is different and I believe the coupe is a shorter wheel based car.. Summarized: No

NO NO NO do not fall into the ignorance of people thinking the G35 is a dressed up Altima I hear it all the time from people... It's a dressed up altima I have to explain that the cars do not share anything other than a 3.5L engine. Two totally different platforms.

The answer is NO. Also, the sedan's rear section is different from the couple and the Z even though they are the same platform.
This topic has been talked about numerous times. Please do the search.

If our car needed dual exhausts, it would have came from the factory that way.

Many of the cars on the road today don't need dual exhaust including the 350Z and the G35 coupe. Also, most of the cars with dual exhaust really don't have true dual exhaust.

I don't know why, but for whatever reason, dual exhaust has become way too popular.

Tell me, does an Acura TSX "need" dual exhaust? It's out of control.

if you didnt have dual exhaust, say good bye to horsepower. I suggest you people here read up on how horsepower is made in first place.

DUal exhaust is needed. the G35 IS NOT AN ALTIMA. IT IS SIMILAR TO FX AND BOTH ARE MADE ON SAME PLATFORM

I almost with the G's engine was 3.4L just so the Altima comparisions would end.

I've actually seen many s2000 owners switch from dual exhaust to single exhaust for performance gains.

You dont NEED dual exhaust.. an efficient exhaust system only needs to be free flowing with the minimum amount of back pressure. A free flowing properly tuned header always helps with extraction. THe header can be 4 into1, 4 into 2-1, even 6-2-1 or 8-2-1 as long as the pipes are large enough diameter to freely extract the the exhaust gasses at a high RPM. Take Diesels for example... single 4" exhaust will eficiently extract over 1000 hp and 1000lbs ft of torque.
keeping in mind that too large of an exhaust diameter, which includes duals, can rob you of your bottom end torque..
