Thanks for the info everyone. So it sounds like a fairly easy mod. Any problems with removing the bolts?

I just installed mine today. It took me about 25mins. with access to a lift. As far as the rattling... The middy was about a 1/4" away from the bracket. I took a piece of rubber tubing, cut it down the middle, wrapped it around the bracket and there's no rattling. It's easier than taking out the bracket and bending it. I didnt have any clearance issues with the heatsheild. BTW i have an '05 and the middy was off of an '04. I was kind of dissapointed because i didnt really hear any difference in sound. But atleast now i can add a couple more pounds to that 100LBS that we have on the coupe. -GP-

So you didn't notice any sound difference? Not even a slightly deeper tone at idle and low RPM? (that is were I notice most of the difference).

Also... does anyone know the exact weight difference between a sedan and a coupe?

Removing the bolt is very easy. Straight forward. However, I put a block of wood to support the muffler from dropping. I didn't use the heatshield because of the rattle. Haven't had a problem. Sounds deeper, but nothing like a full exhaust.

Me too ...started w/ the k&n, then the Z-tube, then the coupe middy/UT y-pipe and 3/8" plenum spacer (all at once)........now I'm thinking HKS sport muffler (come spring time).
