Hey, MrBig, thats the loaner they gave me "lisle20". Do those guys give your car back smelling like *** or did my mechanic just forget to shower?

Stevie, considering they *may have been out of available 'new' Gs* you atleast didnt get a palm pilot and a pat on the back. (again, i do agree with the initial dissapointment feeling getting into an older car)

I was using lisle20 as an example, I think the one I had was lisle60 or something like that. I didn't notice any smells, maybe you had the "smelly man" mechanic. Do they charge extra for that?

Maybe they took his car down to the Shell station, LOL, seriously, if you get your car back smelling a little "mechanicy" not sure what you can do about that, these guys DO work on cars, maybe they should shower before moving your car. I have never had a lingering odor in my car. Now, if it's a body odor smell, that's a different story!

Wow...settle down Stevie! Did you ever think JDM 350GT may have been responding to your thread you started? Asking for feedback? Well he gave it. On that note, I will now respond, after reading the ENTIRE thread . I too believe you are being picky (that's what you asked). Besides....aren't all loaners "used"?

You're the only one making a fool of himself in this thread.

Are you being picky? Abso-f*cking-lutely! When I first bought my G they gave me I30 loaners for the first year. Since then I've had '03.5 and '04. I finally got an '05 at my last service visit.

They're afraid the loaner might be involved in a jail escape or riot, that's why you get the older ones cru. Funny, the last two times I had my '05 in, he made sure I got an '05 with the i-key.

The '05 they gave me had the i-key too. The service rep had to show me how to use it. I guess "intelligent" refers to the key, not the driver.

That's right! But, this i-key is great, after using it, you have to remember the key on any other car you drive, HaHa!
