claiming 315HP+ 04 sedan??

I just bought a 04 sedan AT on ebay a couple of weeks ago. And I need a little of ya alls expertise ( sorry just watched Duke Boys).

He was claiming that it was pushing 315hp. is this possible with these upgrades.
Borla true dual exh. cat back.
stillen intake w/k&n
Z-tube intake.
stillen pulley set and belts

I have only got to drive the car just over 120 miles. It is fast, but when I really get on it from a stop it is a little slow up to 4500 or so.

Like I said I have only driven the car a little bit, I live in MN and we got snow the first day I got it.

I have been reading all these threads and you guys seem to know these cars really well.

any input would help!!!!

No. It's possible that the guy calculated all the advertised gains of each mod together to get his 315 number but those numbers aren't additive.

Don't worry though, you have a powerful car with or without the mods.

315 is way too optimistic especially for those mods.

would a plenum spacer affect the factory warranty?
Yah I know he was trying to sell the car but he claims to have had all this after market stuff done by a certified infinity mechanic, He was a salesman for Infinity, and did all the back ground on the car and him to verify all of his claims except the 315hp of course.

but when I add up all the advetised HP's, I can only find about 299hp @ most.
280hp stock right?
10hp exh.
6hp z-tube intake
3hp pulleys and belts

299hp. max
Will this car light up the tires from a dead stop???

I really can't wait till the snow is gone to go out and have fun with my new toy.
It really sucks just looking at toys in the garage and not being able to use them.

I think you get the idea...
You can't add the individual "claimed" gains... aka ricer math.

Dyno test is the only way;
& even then it has to be done properly.

The best bet is to just enjoy the ride for what it is

I agree it will be a long wait, as MN winters suck A*&.
I did get the stock wheels with bridgestone blizzak tires on them. I might have through them on if I get to giddy.

Thanks for the input eveyone.

If I am not mistaken, I believe the stock 2004 sedan AT is rated at 260 HP.
