Owners with 05 5ATs and willow interiors

I'm looking to replace the large shift **** in my 03 w/willow interior with the smaller 05 shift ****. Is the leather on the 05 willow shift **** the darker gray/greenish color of the upper dash or is it willow?

Last week I had an 04.5 and oddly, it had the 05 shift **** It was definitely nicer than the larger shift ****.

There is no Willow in '05. They changed the color to Wheat and it is NOT the same color. Much lighter in 05 than in 03/04. Sorry.

Wheat. You're right; however, few months back Motor Trend tested a black/wheat 05 5AT and the upper dash/upper door trim seemed to be the same color as my 03 willow upper dash/upper door trim and the shift **** appeared to be the darker color and not the wheat. Is the shift **** in Trey's 6MT wheat or a dark greenish/gray?

Another option might be the **** out of the M-
Not sure if it would fit though. It would be smaller than either the 03 or 05-
I asked the Grubbs guys a while back and they were unsure given that the M was still so new.
I think I may check with Grubbs again given that they may have more info

The shift **** in my car isn't exactly wheat, but it's not gray or green either. I'd just say it's brown. It's almost the color of the dash, but you can't trust me on colors; Cheryl claims I'm horrible with colors.

Dave, It's the wheat color on the shifter in his car. The dash is a different color than the seats, etc but it is still not the same color as the willow. The 03/04 willow has a green cast to it and the wheat is more of a cool gray tone - no green to it really. I hate to say it but I just don't think they are going to match up for you.

Alright I have no idea what he is talking about here. LOL! I will look at it again when he gets home - should be about 30 minutes or so. I still don't think it is the same color as the dash but we'll see. LOL

I have a 05 with wheat. It matches the upper dash/center console brownish color. Not sure if the 03/04 dash is the same color brown.

Ok...guess I was mistaken - not wrong mind you, just mistaken.

Dave, do you have a close up good quality pic of your interior? I don't think they are going to be the same color but maybe if we compare notes so to speak we can double check.

Well I can't say from that. I would say to find one near you or find a dealership that has a car with that interior and look at it first hand. Your pic looks like it is the stone interior to me not the willow so I am guessing the colors are off - either on your photo or on my monitor.

Sorry...tried to help but it didn't work.

The shift ***** in the 04.5 AT's were changed from the earlier models. That is why the 04.5 loaner had the 05 ****. So if you find an 04.5 shift **** in Willow it should match your car. Mine is graphite, so I can't tell you for sure.
