New to Sedans...

Hey guys..

I drive a 6mt coupe but my girl has a 04 auto sedan. She has two questions.. First, are her brakes covered under the 3 years 36k mile replacement? Second, she has the "sport" chrome twin 5 spoke 17" wheels.. What size tires are you guys replacing them with. Her 215/55's are too weak... Thanks

#1 yes, brakes are covered.

#2 there are many sizes you could use. there is a wonderful tool at tirerack.com that you could use to compare tire sizes - the 'tire size calculator'

i've used 225/55 r17's from falken before. easy fit. you don't want to go too wide.

#2 -- I use 235/50/17 and they are a perfect fit, practically no speedo error.

The available selection of tires at 235/50R17 is much, much better than 215/55R17, it's a dead ringer for diameter (no speedo error), and they fit on the stock rims. I'm running a set of Kumho ECSTA ASX's right now.

Just curious here but what do you think of the tires? We both have them now and I love mine but Trey is still *somewhat* unsure (had them less time) and reserving judgement.

This is kinda OT, but can you post some pics of her wheels? I didn't know chrome twin 5 spoke 17's were available on the 04.
