I wanna do something custom with my grille but i need a replacement while i work on it. I have an 05 X and was wondering if the previous model year's grilles would snap right in to my 05

the grill is a different size for the 03-04 so you would have to get another 05 grill. I saw a used one on ebay a day or two ago. check there.

 

argh alright... im just looking to make a difference here with the sedan grilles

anyone know if i can make a mold of the grille, actually not if, but how can I?

 

i grabbed a grille off ebay for my '05 sedan. brand new from someone who replaced theirs with a custom one. i think it was about 135.00. kept the new one in the bag and box, and painted my original one black. so i can swap them out when i want a different look.

 

well im actually looking to gut it out for a sportier look...

I am wondering this myself. The 03-04 will not fit a 05. But the COUPE grills MIGHT. No one has tried it yet. I measured a coupes grill and mine and they were identical in the front size. But the design is questionable.

calm down guys.. supposedly they are working on it... however they did make something else for the sedan that is being shipped to my house! u guys can see it when i post pics
