gsg,
Could you advise the url for the Nissan/Bose agreement regarding the Bose Indash.
If a better mouse trap exists, I feel that Infiniti will step up to the plate and make this problem right.
My G35 is currently at the dealer for the switch, will pick up today and give the new unit a work out.
Just read a article about Infinit reports the highest customer satisfaction in the industry and fewest problems per 100 new vehilces.
As owners we can keep them on their toes by bringing the problems to thier attention or just complain to each other on the internet.
Please adivse your feelings!

Re: Hungry CD Changer
I just got "CD ERR F0" on my CD player. I tried to eject the CDs but it cranks, makes noises and nothing comes out (it's an CD-R).
Any solutions ? Does it need to be fixed or replaced ? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Hungry CD Changer
That's the error this thread discusses. Call your service dept. They'll order a new one. It'll take about a week to come in, then they'll swap it out and send your unit off to Clarion to have the CD's extracted, and you'll get those back another week or two after that.

Re: Hungry CD Changer
If it's a CDR, it may just peek out. You can grab it with a small pair of pliers if you're quick. If the pronlem is only on CDRs, they probably won't fix it.

Re: Hungry CD Changer
I only run standard store-bought music CD's in my player, and it's jammed 3 times. The CD-R argument doesn't fly with me.
The stick-on labels on a CD-R might aggravate the problem, but they don't cause it.

To be perfectly honest, I am not impressed with mine. I have a 05' and it just does not have the "sparkle" I would expect from a system of this price. Sure, it's loud, but. loud ain't everything.
I have an 05 and mine just did this yesterday!
Mine reads disc error, fortunately I can eject my discs! I called Infiniti and they said to take them out and wait 48 hrs then try playing only original cds??
That is BS , the damn owners manual gives instructions on how to use the MP3 function, and the only way to get MP3 files is buy transferring them to a "burned " disc. So I will keep playing my burned " discs, and they will keep replacing my head-unit till they find a better resolution! I am quite pissed, I can't stand the radio, and now driving the G is torture.

no highs, no lows, that bose! A salesman friend of mine always said that. I just picked up my 03.5 today and have slow loading issues. Takes forever..dunno if this is normal. I am not impressed with the system at all.
Also, I noticed with bass setting at 0, the drivers side door panel rattles when I listen to rap or techno over volume setting of 12. Very annoying....I turned bass down to -4 and seems to be much better, but no bass
Anyone else have this issue? I may start a new thread about this and finding a fix!

New Head Unit on the way!
Just talked to the Svc. Mgr. today, and they ordered me a new head unit, and will be getting installed on Thursday night!!
Now lets see how long this unit lasts.
I am still going to play burned CD's, and every time it breaks they will order me a new Head Unit. Because if they want to make a stink, the Lemon Law is 3 Identical Problems, and then they have one final time to fix, and if they can't completely resolve the issue, they can have the car, or buy me a custom stereo!!
