Sport Pedals - G35x
Does anyone have any detail on how to install the metal sport pedals (including the foot rest)? Received this as a gift but have no instructions. They are Nissaan parts.
Thanks in advance for any help

Sure they are genuine infiniti parts so the parts department can order them for you I brought a set off of eBay and will attempt to install them myself. The foot rest looks to be a piece of cake but the brake and gas pedal should be a fun challenge.
Here's a link I saved long time ago. I don't remember who it was, but it's from a member here.

I just installed the same pedals last week. Now that I did it, it's pretty easy.
It actually took about an hour for the installation.
All are very straight forward. Instructions are very good. Except I would add a couple of tricks from my own experience.
Hint 1:
Study the back side of the brake pedal.
Hint 2:
Notice that both corners of the brake pedal are very flexible.
Acceleration pedal:
As instruction stated, use a small flat thin screw driver to pry open from the side toward you. It should easily snap open.
Brake pedal:
Removing the original brake pedal is easy. With a little bit of force, it will help if you can peel a little and hold the back side of the rubber, while pulling either right or left side of the pedal towards you.
Installing the new brake is a bit of challenge, but here are tricks from my experience; peel and hold both back sides of the brake pedal while putting/sliding on the top side first. (Use a little bit of force to make sure the top side is completely on.) Then bend both corners of the rubber towards you, this should help install the brake pedal easily. (Use a flat thin screw driver to work around the back side edges.)
Hope this helps...

For the brake pedal, use a little liquid soap on the edges of the rubber.
Makes it easy to pop on.

For those of you that were able to get the brake pedal on did you still need to use a little screw driver to help with the soap and soaking the pedal in hot water? I think I will just use a combonation of both but make sure I throughly clean the brake pedal afterwards before I go driving around with soapy hot rubber!
