passed rain test

I got some of those goodyear egale f1 GS-D3's, And it rained for the first time today with me having these tires on..So i put them to the test..Turned off VDC, And brought the car to about 3,500 and hit it. To my suprise no major traction was lost..I mean like it didnt fly to redline, that little slip light just blinked twice..I dont no if this is normal for performance tires but with my old tires if i did the same thing i wouldnt gain traction in the rain till a little after 3rd gear..Diffently a good tire for a rainy state like florida..it was almost like it was dry out..

just make sure to park it in a storm shelter so it won't blow away

WOW Rain test?!?!
That could be because you dont have enough power for it to brake loose.
also please dont be an idiot and drive around when its pouring rain with VCD off saying "wow look how much traction this thin has"

Uh....huh huh huh. The point is, his car has the power that it does (obviously), and the tires are designed so well, that they perform & grip extremely well because of the way the tire channels away the water. Just my thoughts.

I'm w/ you on that chilibowl....if you're going to test the grippiness of your tires, no need to turn off the VDC IMO....leaving the VDC on and gunning it is enough as it is.....if you feel the back end slip/kick out or see the light kick on briefly, then you've lost traction . If no light, then you're tires obviously held the road........ I cannot believe Equate revs his car in the rain with stock tires up to 3rd gear!.........that's just not healthy or safe.

the people on this website amaze me sometimes with the ignorant responses that they give. Thanks for your review, I had those tires when they first came out on previous car and they helped with braking as well. they do wear quickly though

pilot ps2's are supposed to be even a little better than the gs-D3's, they might cost a little more though.
