is it just me, or is the g35x front bumper different from the 2wd g35's? and is this for just 05-06's or earlier models too?

i've notice on some members' pics here and on cardomain that most of the g35x's have an opening(trapezoidal) between the two inlet openings just below the license plate area.... what would this opening be for anyway?

yep, been discussed many times over the years. It's an additional air intake, probably for the AWD, but I'm not sure. What's directly behind the opening?
