For all of you out there waiting for the announcement of the G35 Sedan and Coupe pricing for the 2004 models visit http://www.infinitinews.com/?http://www.infinitinews.com/infiniti...81585155.shtml

That figures. The car I want (sean with 6MT) has the biggest price increase.

Re: 2004 Pricing from Infiniti

Actually, depending on how you configure the 6MT, you might be getting a good deal on the 2004 vs the 2003.5. I ordered a 2004 6MT Sedan with Premium and Winter Packages before the feature / pricing changes were announced.

The winter package has been eliminated (heated seats are now standard, which were $450), and the price of the premium package on the 6MT has dropped by $150. So the 6MT base price increased by $750, but the options dropped by $600, plus I also get the new viscous limited slip differential (LSD) and the tire pressure monitor. Sounds like a good deal to me -- people are paying $600-700 to purchase an aftermarket LSD for the sedan. The net MSRP only went up by $150 with the options I want.

Also, it looks like they are now giving you the no charge option of all-season or summer tires on the 6MT regardless of whether or not you have heated seats -- before you had to take the all season rubber with the seat heaters.

Yeah after I thought about it, I think the price may be just a hair more, since like you said, the winter package is included. I also want the navi as well, which I'm assuming will still be 2K and will probably require the premium package. Living in the northeast, I'd definately order with the all seasons.

Bummer!

Victoria, thanks for the link describing the price changes for 2004. I was hoping to see that the 2004 G35 sedan would offer a 4WD or AWD option as some people on the site have mentioned. But after reading the Infiniti news it looks like I'll have to keep waiting (sad face).

Re: 2004 Pricing from Infiniti

It's been confirmed (at Infiniti sales meeting) that the G35 sedan will get AWD (the Atessa system like the FX's). The dealer orders should be going in next month, with first deliveries in mid-December. Still not answered however, is whether AWD will be matched with the 6MT or just the 5AT.

Re: 2004 Pricing from Infiniti

Marty,

Thanks for the insight! You've just brought me closer to buying an Infiniti G35 sedan! Do you have any idea how expensive this option will be? I wonder why Infiniti didn't mention the AWD option when they discussed the prices for 2004?

Is there a difference between AWD and 4WD or are they the same thing?

Re: 2004 Pricing from Infiniti

An Infiniti dealer told me that the AWD will only be available on the sedan with automatic.
