Xman please don't go to englishtown or atco without letting me know. I would like to put an eyeball to "god's chariot" . I want to use stillen(minimal probs). But if the noise/problems with vortech aren't major. Then I would possibly change. I plan on s/c my car within the next 2years.

Major props for s/c the x. How is it holding up?

Well today I had some probelms. I was on I78 driving and I hit the throttle and no response. The car was unresponsive and started to lose speed so I had to pull over to the shoulder. I tried to turn it over a few times and no dice. Wound up getting towed home, luckily only 10 miles. After I got it home a while I tried turning it over. The car would run for a while rough sounding, couldn't hold idle. Sounds like something in the fuel system is wrong. I have to call AAM Monday and see what they think.

Glad I could be of service to you Paul, and happy that it was nothing serious! I'm gonna have you at the track once a week, I guarantee it.

Does that mean your fuel senders are wacked & need to be replaced? Good to hear that's all it was!

Thanks! Yeah I was freakin' out a bit. The way I understand it is that the tank guage is calibrated aginst stock size fuel injectors. I upgraded to 440cc injectors so the sensors need to be adjusted. Or I can just take 1/4 as "E".

hmmmm...dude your post is really teasing me to look into this Vortech. I had thought about TT or even a ST but the Vortech looks nice and the price is right.

What's really invoived in setting it up right? replacement parts and all. Hope you don't mind me asking.

xman, did you ever take it to the strip before the vortech? also, do you have any upgrades on the tranny (vb, tc)? i'd be very interested if you can get into 12's. when does the track open in nj?
btw, it's very nice to kill people of the line at the stop light. i had a very confused c5 z06 owner, 6.0 gto, modded evo, not to mention all the bmw, acura and mb people.
