Last summer I was in the high 14s. I'm guessing I can make the low 13s but can't wait to get to the track. Should be in a few weeks. No tranny upgrades.
I'll keep everyone posted.
So far I've "surprised" some Acuras and BMWs. As the weather gets warmer I'm sure that I'll surprise a few more.

Xman, you are the man. Like a pioneer<g> If it works for you, I'll seriously consider making the same upgrade.
Low 13s would be more than enough for me. I bet the mid-range is rocking. I'm sure you'll be surprising more than Acuras given the chance.

The fuel level sending unit has nothing to do with the injectors. The injectors control the fuel delivery (flow) based on open/close signal from ECU.

FYI...Many owners have had their level sending units replaced under warranty... mine included -- My full tank was only reading 3/4-7/8.

Talk about a sleeper !

My car would no doubt need some springs and shocks. Also the brakes are pretty bad on the 05x sponge city.

On the other hand, my buddy has an extra Vortech S trim laying around. I wonder if I could just buy the brackets?

I want a ride in a Vortech'd G

sponge city? I barely touch the brake pedal on my 05X and the car is stopping. If anything, the brakes on the 03-04 G35 and 05X are too sensitive - definitely the opposite of spongy. The brakes on the 05 RWD and all 06's are not as twitchy.

I still wish I had the larger rotors on the updated G's though for better heat dissapation.

Everythings fine now. No tranny issues so far. Fixed my Tail/park light etc... issues today just by replacing a fuse in the IPDM E/R. Beautiful day in the Garden Sate today. I had a nice spirited drive. Ready for E-Town as soon as I can get there. Dannnyy!!!!
