these cars can get pretty good fuel economy if driven within the speedlimit. on freeway trips at speed limit i average like 27mpg according to my navi.

easily attainable on the highway. My 05X has gotten 25.5 mpg at a 73mph cruise and I got 478 on the tank when I filled up, and I wasnt even close to being empty yet, at least 3 gallons left. When my NAV says I have XXX miles left, there is still a little over 2 gallons in the tank. Freaks the wife out though when I take it down to where the NAV says we are going to run out of gas.

Someday maybe I will get that kind of mileage. Maybe when my wife drives the car for a week or something.

I get 20 mpg and I drive hard on a regular basis, so I believe it's possible to get 390 for 18+ gallons.

so doing over 300 Miles with full tank is good??
I always get around 300-320 miles with full tank which is about 15-16mpg.
I dont think getting 15-16mpg is good gas millage but again i didnt get this car for its MPG.

Your actual mileage will be better since you don't drain the tank b4 refilling.
Calculate your actual mileage by dividing the refill gallons into the miles.
That number will be more like 16 or 17 gallons, which equates to 18-19.5 mpg's.
For mixed driving, that's not too bad.

I can vouch for this as well and it is not BS.

I just got 17 gallons in my car exactly and was at 370 on that tank!

Thats with mostly city driving and some highway but little highway.

It's all in the way you drive and the setup your car has. I use AMSOIL and it gave me up to 2 more mpg I believe.

I have never gotten lower than 350 a tank on mine even when racing at the autox.

90,000 miles - every once in awhile I drive like an old lady to save myself $50.

new-b chiming in...

This weekend was my second fuel stop. I calc 354 mi / 17.5 gal = 20.2 MPG...SWEET!
That's w/ just 500 mi on the car. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the car supposed to get better MPG once it's broken in? It keeps getting better...

Hi I get 620km on average (this is when the low fuel light comes on) Thats in my 04 Sedan 6MT. That's driving average to hard up to just over the speed limit. Also it doesn't matter what grade of fuel I run I get that mileage.

I once took a nice little trip and kept a record of how much I filled up and how may miles I drove...Ended up with an average of 24.5 Mpg mostly at 65mph with 2.5 people. He's in the ballpark on that 390

^^^only if it's done in combination with being easy on acceleration (real easy that is) and using cruise control/avoiding accel/decel while highway driving....I don't keep track as to how many total miles I get on a single tank, as I like to fill up before the needle goes below 1/4 or 1/8...so I base mine on MPG. My personal best is 26.5 MPG w/ cruise control @ 65 MPH (all highway).

believe this one, as it's true. I have a '04,6sp and on a 100% highway trip averaged about 28.5 mpg at about 70mph and filled up at about 500 miles on one tank. not even on fumes.
