I averaged 28 MPG on a cross country trip from Corpus Christi, Texas, to Whidbey Island, WA running 68 - 75 MPH. 380 is completely doable.
Those who say otherwise need to get their right foot calibrated. I routinely get 350+ on 100% city driving. I'm talking miserable top speeds of 45 MPH and work commutes of less than 4 miles one way. I spend more time warming the car up than I do driving it to work in the morning these days.
Call BS. I'm measuring it tank by tank - I know it's true.

I got just under 400 mi on my first tank of gas in my 05x. Then 350. Now 300 is a good fill up. I think its because the dealer used regular in the first fill up I got. The car had 5000 miles on it when I bought it.
I live in San Diego and work in Irvine.
68+ miles each way with heavy traffic on both ends (about 20% of the drive).
I've done this for 5 months and have been keeping track of mileage the entire time.
395 miles per tank is average.
I've done 430 miles, but it was out of necessity (there are no gas stations for a stretch of 20+ miles of my drive).
22-23+ mpg seems to be the norm, but I have babied the car and gotten 24-25mpg (cruise control and keep under 75 with no AC). I use 89/91 octane (switch back and forth) but have really seen no difference between the two.
Everyone I work with is impressed that a car of this caliber can consistently get 22+ mpg.
It seems that the powerplant in this car just gets stronger/more efficient with time. I recall back when I bought the car I was barely able to get 15-16mpg.

ok, i better bring in my car for service, it is an '05 AT sedan, with 16k miles, i've gotten as low as 14.5 to almost 18mpg in the city on my daily commutes, running an average 45-55mph, and around 20-22 on the highway, averaging around 80 mph. that seems awfully low, compared to some of you guys.

I get around 19-20/gal with 30/70 city/highway driving ...
And you did say that you were below "E". I fill up when it is about to hit E since I dont wanna get stuck in the highway.
