I was looking at this site to see abotu upgrading my 2005 G35x HID bulb to a 6000K , I would like a mroe crisp blueish color over the stock lighting. I have retro-fitted a HID kit on my past 2004 Passat, and it was a pain in the a$$.

Has anyone changed the HID bulbs in a G35 Sedan that could comment?

Also, Has anyone bought any items from this website- http://www.visionbulbs.com/

For under $150 i can get a set of HID bulbs and a 7 piece Xenon Interior bulb upgrade. Doesn't sound to bad?

Ohh and by the way- I'm Highjacking my own thread to tell you all i smoked a brand new Acura TL on the highway here in CT- He was tryign so hard and my car was screaming by him and it was great* I love my G35...

All i have is a Z-Tube, Pop Charger, Motordyne-Plenum Spacer/ but boy was my car screaming at 6k rpms!! booo acura, he had some mods too, suspenion exhaust , rims. but not enough!

 

6000K will give a more purple tint than blue. well, at least for the philips ultinon 6000k. i don't know about vision bulb's. they light output will be more white witha purple tint, but the lumens will be less. good luck.

 

I don't give a hoot what color the light is, I want LUMENS! What is the best color temp for the best lumens? I want to SEE!

theyre not going to be bright... STOCK HID'S PUT OUT THE MOST LIGHT THAT IS USEABLE. EVERYTHING ELSE GET DIMMER AS MORE COLOR IS BEING SHOWN

 

okok- lets get off the stock VS. aftermarket talk- replacing my stock HID bulb with a 8000K or 6000k will definetly give it a more blueish look- i don't need to now abotu that- i just want to know how to install on a g35- is it hard? Also-anyone do this yet?
