engine bay question

so there's a black cover that goes over the battery in the rear left part of the engine bay. does the sedan also have a cover that goes over the rear right part of the engine bay? i've noticed that '03 sedans have this and someone pointed out that the z's have it, do our sedans come with it? did the dealer take mine off and not restore it?? i don't remember what it originally looked like (the engine bay that is)

let me know when you guys take a look

The car doesnt come with a JDM RHD (Right Hand Drive) battery cover. You can purchase one from performancenissanparts.com. They only come on the JDM sedans.

I'm glad you asked - I wondered the same thing.

My Engine with the JDM Battery cover on the right side. The circled area is where holes must be drilled to retain it.

Did you have to trim / cut the cover?

Did you purchase your cover from Grubbs? They pre-trim their covers.

I didnt trim or drill the cover either. I just fit the cover in ths spot it goes then put the one screw in that fits and it looks perfect. you dont need to put all the screws in.
