Rubbing issues?

I have a 2005 G35x. I was originally going to go with a set of 19 inch rims but I just got a great deal on a set of 20s. The rims I am getting are 20x8.5 all around. I believe that they have an offset of 38mm.

I am going to be wrapping them in a tire thats 245/35/20 and I plan on lowering the sedan with the sedan eibach pro kit. I know most people disagree with lowering the X but I am going to try it and see how it works out.

My question is will I have any rubbing issues?

No you won't. They will fit just fine.

I have the prokit's you will be fine considering you have a X they have a higher ride hight than us RWD owners. I would say your wheel gaps would be a little more than what I have since I have a 245/40/19 tires and +38 offsets

Hey, thanks guys....I have decided to go ahead and do it. I will be putting everything on within the next 2 months. I wanaa wait a little longer in case we get a late snow storm here. I will post up pics when complete.

I have a question for anyone that has 20 inch rims. How is the ride quality riding a low pro tire?

Chico has 20" wheels and the Eibachs PM him...

ride quality is not that good with 20" 245/35/20...you feel a lot of bumps and its not that smooth...but at least you look baller..haha...i want to change to some 19s with 245/40/19...i think that would help alot...

i never heard anyone having problems with 20s, everyone one says theres no difference in 19s and 20s in smoothness

ok...well i have decided not to get the 20's. I decided on a set of 19s that I should be ordering by the end of the week. I will be getting the racing hart r7s in polished black, 19x8.5 with 245/40/19.

Perry05g35, Do you have any rubbing problems?

KrazyEd, I"m not going with 20s, though I am very very interested to hear how that Pro-Kit works with the X, in particular the camber adjustment. Keep us posted.

with 19s on a x you will have a big wheel gap, if you're dropping then get 19s if youre not dropping get 20s

yeah i am going with 19s and I am also going to lower it on the eibach springs. Pics should be up by the middle to end of march
