My car seems to make a squeeking, creaking type of sound that eminates from inside the car (perhaps in the steering column at slow speeds. Has anyone else encountered this?

I have a faint rattling or more like a buzzing sound coming from either the steering wheel hub or the steering column. It is intermittent and usually when I slowly accelerate from a stop or at slow speeds. Will tell the dealer about it when I bring it in soon for other rattles.

 

I have a similar problem. It sounds more like a rubbing sound than a squeking sound in my situation. Maybe its the bundle of wires in the steering column that is making all that noise.
